  The rooms are clean. The bed is clean. The bathroom is clean. The tv works. What more do you need.

  After a crappy day of weather I got stranded in Big River. When I needed a room I was met with friendly hospitality by the lady at the front desk. She got me in a room and off the roads.

  The rooms are smaller than city hotels but it's what you expect for a small town.

  Excellent motel, very friendly staff, they even gave me home made cookies! Only thing I would like to see is a safety chain added to the door, had I not put a chair in front of the door, the maid would have walked in on me changing. She did announce herself, but I had a cookie in my mouth and couldn't answer back in time.

  Basic motel but very clean and quiet and owners were very friendly. Be sure to say hi to Franklin the turtle who hangs out in the office. He is friendly too!

  Horrible!!!! I would not go back here was treated horribly! The owner was very ignorant and disrespectful to me and my family.... We were turned away and asked to go stay at Cowan campground which was down by the river because they didn't want to accommodate our trailer... When we called ahead of time and arranged it! I would not recommend this place at all.... Two thumbs down! And I grew up in the town of big river it was such a disappointment!!!
